I have finished writing When Blood Flowed as Water and They Shot Their Way to Heaven, books about the O.K. Corral gunfight and Wyatt Earp's vendetta ride respectively. I hope you'll take the time to check them out sometime during the end of 2017. Long live the Western genre!
Working on two books at the same time has been a challenge, but it also helps to prevent me from getting bored. I am currently working on my Wyatt Earp book tentatively called When Blood Flowed as Water, October 26, 1881. I am also working on Detective Rein Connery book number 6, wherein someone close to Paula is brutally murdered. The trick is to keep finding new and inventive ways of killing off characters. There's only so many ways a person can die, or so I thought.
I am currently doing extensive research for a novel covering the events leading up to and following the O.K. Corral shootout. I am trying to decide whether to like Wyatt Earp or not, as well as his brothers Morgan and Warren. I've pretty much decided that I don't like Doc Holliday, but Virgil Earp seems to have been a decent fellow. What do you think about these guys? I'd love to hear your opinions, good or bad.
